Angelo was a member of the South SIde gang, and the loyal bodyguard of Tony Camonte. Though dumbfounded, Angelo was very loyal to tony, and assisted him during the war with the North Side gang. When the police came for Tony at his townhouse, Angelo stayed to defend him when the rest of the gang fled, but was fatally wounded in a brief shootout with the cops. After retreating inside with tony, Angelo answered the phone for him one last time, before succumbing to his wounds, and dying.
