Scarface

"If you can dream it - you can do it!"
―Apollo's inspirational quote

Apollo is a minor character in Scarface: The World is Yours.

Background[]

Apollo is a college student from South Beach, interested in athleticism and sports. Like his fellow college classmates from the beach, he is also a spiritual, vegetarian and alternative lifestyle enthusiast.

Interactions[]

Apollo can most often be found walking on the large beach at South Beach. Sometimes he can also be found walking around the town's sidewalks, usually talking to other NPC's.

In one of the Sandman's leads on Black Sands, he and his fellow college kids will appear as enemies that will need to be beaten up, because they have stolen a harvesting equipment.

Conversation with Tony[]

"Tony Montana: Fuck. How many steroids you eat a day, man?
Apollo: I don't corrupt the purity of my body with drugs.
Tony: Not even coke?.
Apollo: I don't like soft drinks! My body is a temple.
Montana: I mean cocaina, man. The Devil's dandruff.
Apollo: Oh that... Well, of course. How else could I work out for hours on end?
Montana: Doesn't all that working out make your dick look smaller to the ladies, man?
Apollo: When you love yourself like I do, there's no time for anyone else, y'know?"
―Apollo explains to Tony his egotistical philosophy

Personality[]

Apollo is a workout enthusiast and probably a vegetarian or vegan. He has something of an ego, as he says he only loves himself and doesn't find time for women, although he can usually be found hanging out with his female college roommates, implying he is only interested in sex. He is against drugs, except cocaine, which he uses so he can workout for a long period of time. He is interested in Asian philosophy, but not British theater or authors, like Shakespeare.

Talking to Tony, he will explain how he feels he's perfect (copacetic), but generally isn't unnecessarily rude, unlike some other beach boys and bimbos.

Trivia[]

  • He shares the same quotes as his fellow beach bodybuilders.
    • Like them and a few other NPCs, he seems to know who Antonio Montana is even at the start of the game.
  • Similar to some other muscle enthusiasts, Apollo has a name based on astrology. More specifically, Apollo was Jupiter's son, the God of Gods in Rome.
