Big Louis Costillo was the founder of the South Side gang of chicago, and was one of the last old style crime lords left in the city. During Prohibition, tensions began growing between costillo and underling Johnny Lovo. One day after a party at his social club, costillo was shot and killed by Tony Camonte, under orders from Lovo.
