"Ay, ay, ay! The great Tony Montana!"
―Fat Boss greeting a high reputation Tony

Fat Boss is a minor citizen character featured in Scarface: The World is Yours.

Background[]

Fat Boss is a resident of South Beach from Colombia, who appears to be a gangster and used to be a frequent gambler of Whippet Gambling, before he went into a debt and used his money to buy himself an expensive car instead of repaying his gambling debts.

Interactions[]

Fat Boss can always be found walking around the streets of South Beach. Apparently, he used to own a room at the La Normande Hotel until Big Arm Tony send Antonio Montana after him.

Fat Boss can also be found walking around the roads of Trailer Park each time the player enters it from South Beach, regardless if he appeared there or not, which may imply he owns at least one trailer there.

Tony's Conversation[]

"Tony: You Colombian, man?
Fat Boss: We're like brothers, huh?
Tony: Hey! We are not fucking brothers, you got that?
Fat Boss: The coca dust... she gettin' to me.
Tony: You got that right. What you fuaking want around here?
Fat Boss: What I want, I get.
Tony: You making no sense, man. You taken too much fucking yeyo, right?
Fat Boss: I forget, but we have a saying for that."

Trivia[]

  • He is one of the few characters in the game to appear as both a random citizen and an enemy character, similar to the Trailer Park Rednecks.
  • Unlike in the Whippet Gambling front mission, Fat Boss will either cower or run away when he is attacked on the streets, however he appears to calm down quicker than regular citizens.
    • During the said mission, Fat Boss will be wielding a Shotgun and drive a yellow Fellini, which looks similar to a Bacinari.
      • Interestingly, Fat Boss is never seen gambling at Whippet's during free roam, only in the said storyline mission.
  • Due to his name being Fat 'Boss', it is possible he leads a gang somewhere around South Beach. This would also explain his affinity for cocaine.
  • He wears the same type of outfit as Alejandro Sosa's personal bodyguards at his mansion do.
    • This seems to be a standard dress code for Colombian gangsters, as Tony instantly recognises him as Colombian when he sees him.
  • His character model looks a bit similar to Tom Osalis' model.
  • According to his quotes, he snorts the coke they have on the Islands as well. Also similarly to other characters, the Fat Boss will appear on the Islands if the player quickly uses the Floatplane from South Beach to get there, as the game will not progress yet Tony's location.
