Jose is a minor enemy character in the game Scarface: The World Is Yours and is one of Sosa's most common henchmen.
Background[]
Jose is a Colombian gangster working for Alejandro Sosa on the Islands, where the Bolivian Cartel is massive in numbers. According to his quotes, he is also the one who drives Sosa's contraband around to Miami from the Islands.
Interactions[]
Jose can already be seen at the start of the game in the first mission, charging into Tony's Mansion with other members of Sosa's gang. He will kill Carl in front of the door leading to Tony's office. Later he appears in the cutscene killing Don with an AK-47. Later, he gets mauled by the Tiger when Tony Montana is about to enter his gardens. Lastly, he is seen getting shot in the head by Clarence as Tony limps away to his limo. During the Freedom Town Redux mission, Jose and his fellow gang members will attempt to kill Tony after George Sheffield's betrayal.
Jose can be found just about on every other corner on The Islands, and will attack Tony on sight with other members of the Bolivian Cartel. He can be spotted driving or using Mojaves with SAWs on top or Attack Boats in the sea. The only place where Tony can actually intimidate him and talk to him (depending on his gang heat level) is in the middle of the burnt down building in Lobster Cay, along with Juan. When Tinker Riley needs Montana's help in saving his kidnapped daughter, Jose can be seen taunting her in the following cutscene with a handgun.
During The Sandman's leads, he spawns as an enemy when the player is taking down the Bolivian cartel. He will also appear as an enemy during Felix's leads in Miami when the player reaches certain Reputation points.
Jose will also spawn, along with other members of Sosa's cartel, as an enemy in the Coco's Lounge and Disco front mission.

- If the player happens to kill Jose at the garden before the cutscene with the Tiger plays, his outfit will be recoloured.
- He shares the same battle quotes as Juan, Bob Santana and Bret Cagney.
- He also shared the same quotes as the cut character Gonzales.
- Him and Jorge are the two known drug distributors in the Bolivian Cartel.
