Octavio the Clown was an entertainer and a clown at the Babylon Club. He is also a minor character in Scarface:The World Is Yours.

In the film

One night, Octavio was singing some songs of Frank Sinatra and Beth Anderson and started dancing on the stage, before moving to the crowd when suddenly, Octavio, while dancing right next to a table that Tony Montana is sitting at, Lopez Hitmen got up from their table to kill Tony, but they spray machine fire at Octavio instead, accidentally killing him. Tony soon kills the Lopez hitmen by using Octavio's fat belly as cover and gets his revenge on Frank Lopez.

Scarface: The World Is Yours

In The World Is Yours, Octavio mysteriously appears as one of the Diaz assassins attempting to kill Tony during the Babylon Club Redux mission, though he is soon killed by Tony. It is possible that this Octavio is not the same person who wore that costume in the movie sequence.

Although rarely, Octavio can also be seen walking around the park with the parking lot near the La Normande Hotel in North Beach, or walking around North and South Beach streets. Due to the fact that this is an unusual location for a clown, it is possible that he is a street performer, although he has no different NPC movements than the rest of the characters. If Tony talks to him Octavio won't answer, likely due to his mask, and will instead just stand still and be ignoring his talk, before instantly moving forwards.

Trivia

• Octavio can also be seen walking around the park near La Normande hotel even after the Babylon Club Redux mission, which means his costume is used by many people, including Diaz's goons.
• On the remastered version of the game, Octavio's appearance will be directly based upon the one in the movie, as he will wear brown pants and white shoes, as opposed to grey pants and black shoes which he wears on the original game version.
• Octavio is never heard speaking in the game, presumably because his mask prevents him from speaking.
• A portrait of Octavio from the movie can be found inside the hallway to the Babylon Club's dance floor in the game. Interestingly, Octavio never appears in the Babylon Club outside of the Redux mission.
