Poppy was at first Johnny Lovo's girlfriend, though after Tony Camonte started pursuing her, his reputation started growing and he killed Lovo, she then became his girlfriend. After Tony killed his friend, Rinaldo, the police came after tony, and he was barricaded at his home. She tried to call Tony though instead, Tony's bodyguard Angelo answered and he died a few seconds later from a bullet wound he received. Tony picked up the phone, and poppy tried asking what was going on, but tony said nothing and hung up.
